In this mode the geese can do tasks to shorten the game time. Goosehunt: Escape from the killer duck, the geese win if they survive the set time, the duck win if it kills all the geese.Classic: The typical game of geese against ducks, discover the impostor or complete the tasks and the geese win, sabotage the stage or eliminate the geese so that the ducks win.If you really want to be able to enjoy the roles, you should use the Draft mode, but there are other game modes such as: These help you spend hours in-game trying out all the different dynamics out there. Game modes in Goose Goose DuckĪnother great feature of Goose Goose Duck is the different game modes. Now, it doesn’t matter which team you are from, as there are a lot of abilities for geese, for ducks, and there are even roles that don’t fit either team. On the other hand, we have the ducks, which come to be the same as imposters, that is, the main objective of these characters is to sabotage the missions at all costs and eliminate as many geese as possible. As in Among Us there are two teams, on the one hand, we have the geese that, like the crew members, must complete tasks and discover who is the infiltrator among them to expel it. If you are not so familiar with the game let us explain it in the simplest way possible. These roles are special in-game abilities that are available to both ducks and geese to make the experience more fun. The only difference is that Goose Goose Duck offers more than 40 roles. YOU CANNOT RING THE BELL IF YOU ARE CORRUPTED.Just like Among Us did with its latest update, Goose Goose Duck also dared to include roles for the characters within the game. Everything in Bloodhaven is technically always corrupted, which is why players will see the map for what it is when they become corrupted. Corruption wears off over time if you aren't fully corrupted. If you instantly become corrupted, especially while you aren't moving, you were either corrupted by the Crow or caught by a demon (the demon will also freeze you). Once you are fully corrupted, you can become un-corrupted by completing a few tasks. Ducks are always considered to be corrupted but cannot become corrupted. You can see how many corrupted items you've picked up on your role icon, via a green liquid that will completely cover your player icon if you become fully corrupted. The ducks benefit from picking up corruption, as lowers sabotage cooldowns and is necessary for certain abilities. Most non-duck roles do not want to become corrupted. This will cause you to see yourself as a demon, even during the daytime, but you will still appear as normal to other players. If you pick up enough of these items, you will become corrupted. Other Notes: Anything else about the map that is worth mentioning.Īchievements: Short descriptions of achievements specific to the map.Ĭorruption There are corrupted items scattered across the map that can be picked up by anyone at all times, but only ducks can see them during the day. Important Notes: Crucial information not covered by any category above. Map Hazard(s): Ways you can die on the map besides being directly killed by another player. Vents/Sewer/Hide Locations: Number of each and how they interact. Sabotages: Which sabotages can be activated on the map (sabotages with a * have no goose task equivalent, and ones with ~ are part of a goose task, but you probably don't want to be seen on them anyway). Below is a breakdown defining the basic categories of what I'm covering:īutton/Bell/Horn Location: Where you go to call an emergency meeting.Ĭameras/Intercom: Whether there are cameras and/or intercoms on the map. This guide is primarily meant for new players, or as a quick reference, as you should learn most of what's provided for a given map after playing that map for an hour or two. There are a variety of maps in Goose Goose Duck, and there are several differences about each of them besides how they look or what tasks they have.
