![]() ![]() Please crawl back into the hole you crawled out of Joi. What else can we ask of another human being? Including yourself? Why don’t you even the field and put up your mistakes? No? So easy to smear others, which in my opinion, shows yours. He told me about this one mistake in his early 20’s and has always felt badly about it. I think you have no place commenting here as from my understanding, your character is not that great. The kind that loves us at our worst and takes his kids to school every single day. As his wife, of almost 20 years, I can say that he’s been an amazing husband to me & an incredible father to our children. You were “married” for a few months, but to read your post, you make it sound like you ever saw a gray hair stripe his hair. I documented most of my research.Ĭorrection, KNEW his character perhaps. Have seriously considered approaching a newspaper to blow the thing wide open before anyone else falls for this scam. (I found dozens and dozens of people on LinkedIn who were listed as both producers and cast members.) And it's the perfect scam: appealing simultaneously to executives' egos and their altruism, then turning it into a pyramid scheme of 'producers' recruiting future cast members. I won't go into everything I found, but the whole thing left such a bad taste in my mouth, because it was so incredibly flattering to be approached. And it didn't take long to realize it was all smoke and mirrors. I even went to my boss to try to get my company to cover the considerable amount of money they were asking for, arguing that it would be good marketing for the company. Had an interview with a producer in late 2020, and was all psyched up to join the cast in Miami in the summer of 2021. Has anyone else heard of this reality TV show? Does anyone have any more information? Is Chris LaVoie a real person, or have we all just been scammed? Is anyone reading this on Season I or maybe even the recent group of us in Miami? But recently they sent an email basically setting up that it wouldn't really "air" on TV so who knows who will actually see this thing. I also heard there was a Season I but now it seems our Season is going to "air" first. It's like he doesn't exist before this experience. I can't find anything about this Chris LaVoie character except for things he has put out himself. Just shots of us smiling and slow motion walking to the camera that could be edited in iMovie. And they keep sending our Chair and Co-Captains snippets of footage that we all shot on the first day. We have an Agent CeeCee (who I think is named Connie) that keeps sending us "missions" to complete. ![]() Oh and there's all this secret agent bullshit. ![]() Now they have asked a few of our team members (I guess I'm not one of the chosen ones) to go back to Miami for more reshoots - reshoots of what? What could they possibly be "reshooting". It was like selling football raffle tickets - whoever sells the most, gets to be Executive Producer. We also were told that in order to become an "Executive Producer" of the show, you have to sign more people up. It was the most unorganized thing I've ever been a part of and I find myself saying over and over again, "But the people were worth it." which then sounds nuts considering how much money we all paid to be a part of this experience. It felt like everything then became about the teenagers - which is cool, but I didn't sign up and pay for a TV after-school special. The "producers" decided that whatever idea they had should be the idea we move forward with as a team because "they are our future". They dropped a "Number 11" in our team who were all teenagers to help with our ideas, but by then our team was well on our way to a finished idea. Yes, that was scripted for me to read on camera! I'm not even sure they got enough film footage to create an episode as the questions I got asked where "What superhero would you be?", "How has the food been?", and then they wanted us to say "I love Chris LaVoie". Many of us paid for a VIP experience on set - never happened. There was a photo shoot that was promised of 100 photos that I could use for myself as an early signing bonus - never happened. Literally, bought in to the idea as it would require a financial investment from me, but in the end it seemed worth it so I paid it and off to Miami I went. When I was "discovered" by the "Executive Producers" they shared a really wonderful, life-changing opportunity with me, and I bought into the idea to help change the world. Let me give you the high points to see if anyone else can relate to anything I've experienced. Has anyone else heard of a "reality TV show" called "4 Days to Save the World" or "The Social Movement?" Things are just getting really, really fishy and I'm wondering if I have been taken for a ride.
